Alexa Torre

Her work as a photographer is related to her Mexican heritage, working on issues of identity, vernacular culture and local, integrating in several community projects where she explores aesthetics of void spaces, remote places and centers of great cultural and traditional relevance.
Her work has been published in places like National Geographic, Huffington Post, Lensculture, and Lenscratch among others. Her aim as an artist is to make a change in consciousness, where respect and interest in the past, tradition and multiculturalism becomes more than a utopia.
